Keeping It Real: There are a lot of folks
preaching about "prosperity". But what does prosperity truly mean -
better yet, what does it mean to YOU?
God said He would give us the
desires of our heart (Psalm 37). Which is a scripture that can be
completely taking out of content. It's not that God does not desire to
bless you, but the scripture read, "Trust in the Lord, and do good:
dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also
in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart". So there
are stipulations and consequences for everything, including the the
promises of God.
When we operate and feed on
His faithfulness we live a life of contentment and favour. When we have
the favour of God we are prosperous. Money can't buy you love! Money
can't buy you a ticket to heaven? But money can purchase you a ticket
straight to ???? My point is this - prosperity is not simply money.
When we learn to fix and focus our eyes on Christ, we live a prosperous
life. God will bless you in ways that money can't touch - walk in the
land of favour and blessings in Christ Jesus. Amen... Ya Dig?...
