Keeping It Real: I'm talking about the places that have infomercials saying they can lower your taxes you owe or eliminate your back taxes! Ummmmmm, you will have to do the majority of the work! You have to gather all your information and what they do, YOU CAN DO!!! It is called an Offer In Compromise (OIC)!!! They ask the IRS to either eliminate your back taxes based on your income or ask the IRS to lower the amount so you can pay! 

Same difference, what they ask, you can do all on your OWN!! Why pay these places money, which obviously you don't have, to do shit you can do on your own! 

You can gather your info, call the IRS in your area or the 1800 number and ask about the OIC package and they will send info in the mail, that you can fill out, with your info, just like the TAX HELP places do! 

Thing is, you can do it for FREE without paying these places to help! TRUST, they can't do anymore than what YOU CAN DO YOURSELF!!! Ya Dig?...

Keeping It Real: It amazes me how some folks will PAY $300-$400 dollars during tax season to get "simple" taxes done! If you do not have to do a long form and even if you do, it is ALWAYS cheaper to GO ONLINE & do it yourself! 

The same software that H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, Quick Sam and any other tax place that you walk into, are using same software, available online! It is self-explanatory and if you get stuck, they have search notes & ask questions notes right on the side! 

They also have the deluxe addition where you would only pay anywhere from $20-$80 to get help, right there as you do it! Sure beats the hell out of paying hundreds of dollars! 

Also that rapid refund shit is a rip off and does not benefit the payee who is giving up almost 1/2 of their refund just to get it a little quicker! Unreal Ya Dig?....
