Lesson Of The Day: Remembrance Of The Newtown Children ....

Keeping It Real: Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"this is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at
God's house."when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"come now my children, let me show you around."
excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
and I heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT." Ya Dig?...

Lesson Of The Day: God Said It But Do You Understand It?

Keeping It Real: Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

There is so much discord with parents and children nowadays and children seem to forget, that when you DO NOT give your parents the respect they deserve, your days & Blessings are shortened here on Earth!

Honoring parents is not however a "one way street" - parents have a responsibility to conduct themselves so as to be worthy of honor as well!

Doesn't necessarily mean, you will die young but it does mean your Blessings stop short which makes your days even shorter! Ya Dig?...

Lesson Of The Day: 2 Children Standing Side By Side

Keeping It Real: Why would a person rave and rave and just gush all OVER ONE child because they are prettier and say absolutely NOT ONE WORD about the other child?

If you stand ACCUSED, have you ever watched the reaction and or even looked into the child's face that is being overlooked, left out & possibly made to think, well damn, am I ugly ?

When a person starts gushing over one of my granddaughters and not the other, I interrupt them, "yes, I said interrupt" their asses and say BOTH OF MY GRANDBABIES are gorgeous! They usually give me a *blank stare* until that little light bulb pops on in their little ass brain, that I am making the other child feel little about themselves because my brain is too small to think! Ya Dig?..

Lesson Of The Day: Misbehaved Children Begins With Storybooks

Keeping It Real: How do you expect children to listen when Tarzan lives half naked, Cinderella comes home at midnight, Pinocchio lies all the time, Aladdin is the king of thieves, Batman drives at 200mph, Sleeping Beauty is lazy, Snow White lives with 7 guys, Goldilocks is a burglar & thief, Lil' Red Riding Hood is walking through woods alone & Rapunzel was letting men climb in her window ? We shouldn't be surprised when children misbehave - they get it from their storybooks! Ya Dig?..

Lesson Of The Day: 2 children

Keeping It Real: Am I the only person who GETS BOILING angry, when I hear somebody make a comment about a child and how pretty and beautiful they are and they go on and on and freaking on about this child you have with you, BUT THERE ARE 2 CHILDREN with you? How can a person be so insensitive toward a child? I know some don't think, but maybe it is time YOU ALL SHOULD!! That shit ain't right, especially when there stands before you, 2 children, dumb asses! Ya Dig?...
