Lesson Of The Day: Black/White Differences...

Keeping It Real: Why is it when a group of Black boys stand around, they are thugs, bangers & up to no good BUT when a group of White boys stand around, they are just hanging?

Why is it when a Black man kills several people, he is a criminal, gangbanger, low down & no good BUT when a White man kills several people, he is a serial killer and needs professional help?

Why is it called a ghetto mess when a neighborhood is ridden with drugs in a Black community BUT when drugs are running rapid in White communities, it is an epidemic?

Why is it when Black women get cosmetic surgery done, it is called trying to be White BUT when a White woman gets it done. ie: botox, booty implants, she is keeping up with fashion?

Why is it when Black girls get pregnant at a young age, they are lazy, ignorant and will be on welfare BUT when White girls do it, they get their own damn show, 16 and Pregnant?

Mmmmmm Hmmmmmm Ya Dig?...

Lesson Of The Day: Trying To Act Black Or White..

Keeping It Real: Why is it when a Black person enunciate & pronounce words without slang, folks says they are trying to act white? Don't you hate when a person that is not of your race tell you, you are so well spoken! Is it expected, that are Black people speak with slang? Why is it when a White person sings and dances like a Black person or even talks like one, they are trying to be Black? Why can't that person just have SOUL, deep within, because that's what makes Black people soulful!

I was raised from kindergarten to the 8th grade with mixed races, moved to an all Black area and was constantly called Miss Proper! Trying to talk white and to this day, I am now 52, people will say, why does she talk like that? Sorry, folks, just because I use good grammar, doesn't take away my Blackness! Ya Dig?...

Lesson Of The Day: President Obama

Keeping It Real: We have to continue to pray for President Obama, because no matter what he tries to do, to help this country, people still only SEE THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN. It seems as though he's damned if he do and damned if he don't. We gotta keep him lifted. (Thanks Natasha Bell for paragraph above)

Why is it that a Black Man can create a tiny piece called a filament (electric light - Lewis Latimer) that allows people to see in the dark?  But can't be seen fit to lead a country to the true light.

Why is it that a Black Man can create an instrument (clock - Benjamin Banneker) that all people use to tell time? But people don't think it is time for him to run a country.

Why is it that a Black Man can design a place for the high authorities to meet in and a place for the president to live in (The Capital and the White House Phillip Reid (a slave) and Pierre L'Enfant)? But not good enough to lead these meetings or live in himself.

Why is it that a Black Man was brilliant enough to do the first open heart surgery (Dr. Daniel Hale Williams) and show the world how to get and preserve plasma (Dr. Charles Drew)?  But not good enough to put a program in place where everyone can afford this surgery.

Why is it that a Black Man was creative enough to design an instrument (traffic light - Garrett Morgan) to bring multiple people (traffic) to a halt? But not seen creative enough to design a plan to bring all this unnecessary and worthless fighting between countries, to an end.

Why is it that a Black Man could create the soles (shoes - Jan Matzeliger) that people walk on every day? But not seen good enough to fill the shoes of a bad president.

Why is it that a Black Man was smart enough and brave enough to teach himself (Fredrick Douglas and Thomas Fuller - both slaves) and others how to read, write and/or calculate math? But not seen smart enough and bold enough to calculate a platform to be President to a country that sure needs another first by us.

So you see my people, what I am saying is, let us not forgot our past which led us to our present and can definitely be the backbone to our future. We were good enough, smart enough, creative enough and bold enough then, so let us all give Obama the chance to show that we are still these things and more. We all are as strong as our weakest link, so do not be that weak link that denies our people the chance to show we still can OVERCOME AND BE THE FIRST! Ya Dig?...

Lesson Of The Day: Black & White Women

Keeping It Real: It's funny how these race of women are trying to become one another!

The Black women are getting breast implants, nose jobs to make their nose keener and smaller, weave past their assholes and wearing colored eyes other than brown and black!

The White women are getting so tanned, they either look orange or Hispanic! They are wearing weave, braids, getting their lips inflated and butt implants to have a bigger ass. Oh yeah and most LOVE OUR Black men! LOL

Hmmmm, I have nothing against other races, but I refused to change the looks that my PARENTS Blessed me with just so I can "supposedly" look better! Hell, I am perfect the way I am! Ya Dig?..

Black History Month

February is the month for Black History. Where Blacks have come a long way with Less losses and More victories.

Quoting the Great Dr. Martin Luther King, we shall overcome and free at last, Black History means to me Great Black makers and Great Black makings of the past.

We shall and have overcome many obstacles blocking our stride, Martin Luther King dreamed it, Obama achieved it and he did it with dignity and much pride!

Say it loud, I am Black and Proud. Say it again, I'm proud of my Black Heritage, my Black Skin and Proud to be a Black American!!
