Keeping It Real: Whenever I hear a person say, believe me, you..I think of my mother and often wonder what in the hell does that mean? I hear so many elder, Black people saying that from the South but I heard a White lady on TV last night say this same thing and made me think of my Mother and why would a person say, believe me, you? Can someone please explain to a 53yr old, what in the hell, believe me, you, mean? Ya Dig?
