Keeping It Real: Just because *some* rappers, singers and Black people use the "N" word does not mean that ALL black
people use the word as well. You cannot justify the continual use of
this word based on what some do.
I am offended by anyone who uses it
(yes, this means black people too). The word is offensive, period. If
you are a black person who still uses it, challenge yourself: why do you
use it?
Don't ever try to "own" a negative word by using it yourself.
You don't "own" it if you still get upset if people of other races use
it and you get mad. They still "own" it based on the emotional response
it gets from us. STOP THE SELF HATE!!!
BTW-the same thing is happening
to the "B" word used against women. Stop letting rappers/singers/celebrities glamorize
things that SHOULD NOT HAVE GLAMOR!!! Ya Dig?...
